Does anyone know of a less expensive waterproof solution for my Panasonic LX3? I won’t be taking it any deeper than 40-45′ deep. Unfortunately, I’m on a budget.
Thanks!

hi, can anyone tell me where would be the best place to pick up this housing for my LX3. Currently living in Indonesia, but planning a quick trip to singapore or KL. Cheers. I also have a ship to address in Sing that I could use… but would rather get my hands on when there, and not have to risk it taking ages. cheers

Hi, Can anyone give me some feedback on the quality of the 10Bar housing in general. I am trying to decided between the 10Bar or the Seatool for my Panasonic GF1. The 10Bar is a lot less but I have not been able to get my hands on one to see the quality of the design and manufacturing.

Thanks,

Thomas Buechner

hey Mark – thanks for your comments. I don’t think the UFL-165 fisheye is suitable. Edvin uses the UCL-165 macro lenses. The Inon Z240 can connect via sync cord or fiber optics. 2 different strobes is fine if that is all your budget allows.

Hi,

I am thinking of buying this setup, could you give me a little further advice.

Will the Inon 165 Wide Angle lens be suitable for this as well, or you it cause vignette? I have heard that the Inon 100 WA with the dome can be fiddley to put on/remove.

I believe that Edvin Eng uses the Inon 130 macros stacked. Is this correct? Would the Inon 165 macro be suitable for this camera? Is it possible to stack the Inon 130 with an Inon 165?

I would like to get the Inon z240 stobe for this. Can this be connected via the hot shoe connection or is it fibre optic?

Is it feasable or sensable to use a dual strobe combination with an Inon z240 and an Inon 180s or another cheaper model? Or is it best to get two matching strobes? My budget doesnt stretch to two z240’s but I could get a second cheaper model.

Thankyou very much,
Kind Regards,
Mark

P.S Edwins photos with this combination are absolutely fantastic! All the photos on this site are. You guys are very talented…I aspire to get some like this some day! 🙂
